Creative & Motivated Architect
If you're a talented, experienced and ambitious architect looking to showcase your design skills, lead projects, boost your career, and work towards studio leadership roles in an up-and-coming design studio then this role may be for you.
You'll be given plenty of opportunity to thrive in a collaborative team environment where you can take on lead design roles, manage projects, and make important contributions to large and complex projects. Your growth will be fast-tracked by working alongside experienced Directors Michael Bailey, Dani Martin and Mark Burrowes.
You will be working on any of the exciting new projects the studio has underway, including a mixed-use community/museum/tourism project in Rockhampton, a community hub on the Gold Coast, and a number of other sports and education projects.
Your energy, 'can-do' attitude passion for design will mean that you mesh well with our team, who take great pride in delivering well considered, inventive and joyful projects that have real impact in our community.
To be considered for the role you must demonstrate:
Masters Degree in Architecture
8+ years post-graduate experience on large commercial, education or mixed-use projects in Australia.
Solid grasp of regulatory requirements including Australian Standards and NCC.
Passion for design and architecture that has social impact!
Self-motivation and ambition
Ability to work collaboratively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good initiative and self-motivation
A positive, 'can-do' attitude
Energy and passion for architecture that has meaning and impact
Solid ability with Revit, Photoshop and InDesign
The right to work in Australia
Your Responsibilities include:
Working collaboratively with directors and other team members across a number of projects.
Assisting the director and design leaders to develop project designs
Leading the delivery of documentation and graphic presentations.
