The new Master Plan and Concept Design for the new Bellbowrie Community and Sports Clubhouse features a new clubhouse designed by Open, strategically located within the redesigned sports precinct to serve as a vibrant hub for celebrating sports and the local community.
The two-level design includes flood mitigation measures to protect against past damages, with the upper floor dedicated to community facilities, allied health services, and a licensed club. The lower level will accommodate sporting changerooms and sports equipment storage. This thoughtful layout enhances connectivity, providing a smooth transition from the clubhouse to the playing fields, ensuring ease of use for all community members and equitable access for players of all abilities.
Strategically, the Master Plan situates the sporting club facilities facing the fields, while community and commercial facilities greet visitors arriving from the car park and drop-off area. This design ensures excellent access to both community and sporting functions, as well as optimal visibility for commercial entities.
This clubhouse is a vital element of a comprehensive Master Plan funded by BCC, aimed at reconfiguring the precinct and playing fields, increasing local sports participation, and expanding community offerings. We are excited to be part of this transformative project and eagerly anticipate its realization!
